COMING SOON: TURNAROUND “INN” SHEPHERDSVILLE

Dear Friends and Supporters of Turnaround Resource Center,

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Jennie Fleming, and I am the Executive Director of the Turnaround Resource Center in Lebanon Junction. I am reaching out to you on behalf of our organization with an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals facing homelessness and displacement in our community.

At Turnaround Resource Center, we are embarking on a transformative initiative to establish the first-ever 90-day transition home in Shepherdsville, Bullitt County. This facility will serve as a haven for individuals who find themselves in challenging circumstances, offering them not only shelter but also comprehensive support to rebuild their lives.

Our vision for this transition home goes beyond providing basic accommodation. We are committed to nurturing the holistic well-being of our residents by addressing their mental, physical, and spiritual needs. Through tailored programs and compassionate care, we aim to empower individuals to break free from the cycle of homelessness and displacement and to thrive in all aspects of their lives.

As we embark on this endeavor, we are faced with the task of securing the necessary funding to complete the renovation of the transition home. The estimated cost for this project is $100,000, and while our original timeline projected a start date of January 1, 2025, the urgent need within our community has prompted us to expedite our efforts.

I am delighted to share that we have been blessed with a generous matching grant of $30,000 from the Edith Grigsby Trust For The Elderly. This means that for every dollar raised, the trust will match it, doubling the impact of each contribution. With your

support, we can maximize the potential of this grant and bring our vision to fruition sooner rather than later.

The prospect of filling the eight-room apartments at our transition home is promising, and it underscores the critical need for such a facility in our community. With your generosity, we can provide a safe and supportive environment for those in need, offering them hope, dignity, and a pathway to a brighter future.

The Turnaround Resource Center would like to invite you to join us in this noble cause by contributing to our fundraising efforts. Your support, whether big or small, will make a difference in the lives of individuals who are seeking to turn their lives around. Together, we can create a community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

If you would like to learn more about our project or discuss how you can get involved, please feel free to contact me at 270.465.1042 or through email at turnaroundrc@gmail.com. I would be honored to speak with you further about the impact your support can make. Turnaround Resource Center meets the 20 Standards for Charity Accountability with the BBB as well as a Non profit organization who gives all we get back to those we serve.

Thank you for considering this invitation, your kindness and generosity have the power to change lives and inspire hope. I look forward to the possibility of working together to make a positive difference in our community.

Warm regards,

Jennie Fleming, Executive Director
